C&rsquo;est un mythe du fitness largement divulgu\u00e9. Marcher longtemps, faire du cardio lent, rester dans la soi-disant \u00ab zone de combustion des graisses \u00bb.<br data-start=\"287\" data-end=\"290\" \/>Le raisonnement est simple : \u00e0 faible intensit\u00e9, le corps utilise une plus grande proportion de graisses comme carburant.<br data-start=\"411\" data-end=\"414\" \/>Cela para\u00eet logique.<br data-start=\"434\" data-end=\"437\" \/>Mais c\u2019est incomplet.<\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>Ce que nous dit la recherche :<\/strong><\/span><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"497\" data-end=\"770\">Il est vrai qu\u2019\u00e0 faible intensit\u00e9 d\u2019exercice, une part plus importante de l\u2019\u00e9nergie provient de l\u2019oxydation des graisses.<br data-start=\"618\" data-end=\"621\" \/>Cependant, la perte de graisse ne d\u00e9pend pas du pourcentage de graisses utilis\u00e9es pendant une s\u00e9ance, mais du bilan \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique global dans le temps.<\/p><p data-start=\"772\" data-end=\"1017\">Lorsque l\u2019intensit\u00e9 augmente, la d\u00e9pense \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique totale augmente significativement. De plus, les exercices plus intenses peuvent \u00e9lever la consommation d\u2019oxyg\u00e8ne post-exercice, ce qui maintient une d\u00e9pense \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique \u00e9lev\u00e9e apr\u00e8s la s\u00e9ance.<\/p><p data-start=\"1019\" data-end=\"1310\">Les \u00e9tudes montrent que l\u2019entra\u00eenement mod\u00e9r\u00e9 \u00e0 intense produit des r\u00e9sultats similaires ou sup\u00e9rieurs en perte de graisse, \u00e0 condition que la d\u00e9pense \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique totale soit comparable. Plus qu&rsquo;un mythe du fitness, c&rsquo;est une devise. Si \u00e7a ne fait pas mal, \u00e7a ne sert \u00e0 rien. Les courbatures, la br\u00fblure musculaire et l\u2019\u00e9puisement sont souvent per\u00e7us comme des preuves d\u2019efficacit\u00e9.<\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>Ce que nous dit\u00a0 la recherche :<\/strong><\/span><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"2045\" data-end=\"2233\">Les courbatures (DOMS) ne sont pas un indicateur fiable de progr\u00e8s. Elles sont surtout li\u00e9es \u00e0 un effort inhabituel ou \u00e0 des dommages musculaires, pas \u00e0 la croissance musculaire elle-m\u00eame.<\/p><p data-start=\"2235\" data-end=\"2455\">Il est possible de progresser sans courbatures. \u00c0 l\u2019inverse, on peut \u00eatre tr\u00e8s courbatur\u00e9 sans adaptation r\u00e9elle. Ce mythe du fitness reste un frein important \u00e0 la musculation chez les femmes. Et c&rsquo;est bien dommage!<\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>Ce que nous dit la recherche :<\/strong><\/span><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"3016\" data-end=\"3182\">Le d\u00e9veloppement musculaire est fortement influenc\u00e9 par les hormones, notamment la testost\u00e9rone. Les femmes en produisent naturellement beaucoup moins que les hommes.<\/p><p data-start=\"3184\" data-end=\"3443\">Les \u00e9tudes montrent que les femmes peuvent gagner en force de mani\u00e8re comparable, mais les gains en masse musculaire restent plus mod\u00e9r\u00e9s.
