No, the duoveo Gema doesn’t have an integrated GPS. The device is designed to be as easy and non-intrusive as possible. However, since the Gema has its own duoveo app, the GPS data will still be tracked if you decide to.
Maintaining GEMA is easy and requires minimal effort. To clean it, just use a soft cotton tissue dampened with alcohol.

The current setup operates as follows: the device is programmed to synchronize once daily within the time frame you specify, such as from 8AM to 5PM or 8AM to 9AM, etc. In either scenario, as long as your device is in proximity to your phone (even if the duoveo app isn’t active and your phone is in sleep mode), synchronization will take place automatically, and you’ll receive a notification. Keep in mind that the wider your time frame, the more battery consumption you can expect.
Navigate to the top-right corner of your screen and click on the wheel icon. Select “My Device” and then click on the clock icon next to the name of your device. From there, you’ll be able to adjust the starting and ending time frame.
No, GEMA data can’t be read by another application for the time being. Those capabilities have not being integrated yet.
The device’s accelerometer can analyze your motions to identify the type of movement you’re engaged in. Utilizing the algorithm embedded within, the device estimates the number of steps taken and calculates the associated distance. Additionally, it integrates the health data you’ve inputted into the application for more accurate results.
