Let’s discuss my experience at the Hippocrates Wellness Center. It stands as a comprehensive hub for holistic well-being. I doubt you’ll find another place globally where you can truly reconnect with yourself and discover your path to wellness. Throughout my stay, I had the opportunity to indulge in a myriad of amenities and participate in various activities.

My Journey

Let’s provide a brief overview of my journey. I spent four weeks at the center, with only a vague idea of what to expect. Upon landing at PBI airport on a Sunday, I reached the center within 15 minutes. After receiving my badge and necessary documents outlining my schedule for the next four weeks, I headed to my room to prepare. Leisure time was minimal as my days were packed with exercises, various therapies, physical and blood evaluations, meetings with doctors and nutrition professionals, and participation in seminars. The days typically began at 7 AM for early risers and ended around 7 PM. Weekends, however, offered a more relaxed pace.

Your journey starts with a blood test and various physical and emotional evaluations. Subsequently, you’ll meet with numerous healthcare professionals, including doctors, practitioners, and nutritionists, to assess your current condition, discuss your aspirations, and outline your goals. From there, they will provide guidance, tailored to your needs, within the framework of a core program that you’ll be expected to follow and customize as necessary.

What are the benefits of the center ?

What does the center truly offer? Its core strategy revolves around guiding individuals back onto the right track in their lives. This plan is anchored in a variety of activities that foster a deep connection with nature’s essence. The primary focus isn’t solely on the body, but rather on harmonizing one’s conscious and subconscious minds. Achieving positive, lasting change necessitates being in an environment where one can confront internal challenges and free oneself from their grip. This initial step is crucial, as without it, desired results may remain elusive. Taking control is imperative. In today’s fast-paced world, stress is pervasive, stemming from various sources such as family, work, and everyday life.

Finding time for yourself and learning to disconnect is essential to managing and releasing this internal stress, which can manifest physically. These principles are foundational. Believing in yourself, envisioning possibilities in the short and long term, and nurturing dreams for the future are all vital components of this transformative journey.

However, the mind cannot thrive if the body is in poor condition or afflicted by illness. I’ve heard stories from individuals who arrived at the center devoid of hope from their medical teams, yet managed to recover and are still alive today. The center isn’t intended to replace existing medical practices but rather to complement them.

How to nourish your body.

The body requires nourishing food to function optimally; its organs must collaborate seamlessly. If one falters, the others strive to compensate, but for how long? It’s imperative to provide them with wholesome, nutritious fare. When I speak of “good food,” I mean those closest to nature’s bounty. Recent times have witnessed a surge in cancers and other ailments, while life expectancy declines. Today intensive agriculture production methods lead our environment to a dangerous path. 

The principle is to consume foods with minimal processing, favoring raw options whenever feasible. Avoiding animal-derived and heavily processed foods is crucial. These items create significant acidity, placing added strain on your system. Meanwhile, the nutritional content you get is both lacking in quality and quantity. Educating oneself about healthy choices leads to a happier body. Personally, I’ve observed a decrease in my cholesterol levels through this approach.

Wellness Center Cuisine

The cuisine provided throughout your sessions at Hippocrates Wellness center offers a unique experience that many of us seldom encounter. A wide variety of raw foods are available, categorized into four groups: freshly grown vegetables such as salads, broccoli, spinach, radishes, and more; sprouts, germinated seeds and prepared dishes. I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious flavors that can be achieved solely with raw ingredients. We enjoyed dishes like zucchini pasta and pizza, skillfully crafted by Chef Ken. Recently, I purchased a book titled “Cuisine Vivante” by Dr. Ana Maria Clement, Chef Kelly Serbonich and the collaboration of Chef Chad Sarno, further expanding my knowledge in this area. Raw foods offer a wealth of nutrients and can be remarkably flavorful and visually appealing. It’s imperative that we completely reassess our approach to food consumption, not only for our own individual benefit but also for the collective well-being of everyone.

Treatments & Therapies

Hippocrates Wellness center provides an extensive array of therapies and activities, including massage, infrared treatments, meditation, yoga, fitness routines, exercises, H-Wave therapy, lymphatic drainage, skin detoxification, beauty treatments, acupuncture, and more. With a highly skilled professional team, you’ll have the opportunity to partake in many of these offerings and reap their benefits.

Get your mental ready

In addition to physical therapies, the center offers core seminars tailored for mental well-being. These include healing circles, integrative sessions focusing on emotional states, holistic perspectives, internal awareness workshops, and discussions on Quantum concepts, which can be complex to grasp. Topics also cover stress management and the mind-body connection to health and healing. Recognizing that everything is interconnected, these seminars emphasize understanding how past events can create stress, prompting diverse reactions within the body. Acknowledging these connections is essential for personal growth and moving forward effectively.

Physical exercise is a cornerstone of our Hippocrates Wellness center’s approach. Bright and early, though perhaps a bit too early for my liking, you’ll have the opportunity to engage in various activities led by experienced trainers. Prioritizing the well-being of your body, exercise is fundamental. A vital component of everyone’s routine. Diversifying your activities is crucial, ensuring a steady flow of oxygen throughout your system. This oxygen, coupled with physical activity, works to alleviate stress and fortify your body against illnesses. However, it’s essential not to overdo it; the benefits gained from exercise could turn detrimental if pushed too far.

In addition, you’ll have the opportunity to attend numerous lectures, though I won’t list them all here:

  • Detox and Elimination
  • Basics of Essential Oils
  • Quantum Concepts
  • Principles of Health
  • Kitchen Techniques & Recipes
  • EMF Protection
  • Exosomes, Stem Cells, etc.

While some lectures focus on practical applications, others delve into more complex concepts. However, each offers a cohesive perspective on approaching well-being. Indeed, it’s important to attend these lectures; you may not grasp everything immediately or retain all the information, but you’ll receive the foundational knowledge needed to continue your exploration when the time is right.

Hippocrates Wellness Center comprises multiple well-divided spaces nestled amidst picturesque natural surroundings, spacious enough to avoid crowding and offering glimpses of unique wildlife.

Let’s begin with the main hub, Wigmore Hall, where meals and specialized lectures take place.

Firstly, the Hut Theater is an intriguing structure, crafted entirely from wood and leaves, reminiscent of an old-fashioned dwelling. This serene environment hosts discussions led by Brian, Anna, and other team members on various health topics.

Next, the Fitness Center is ideal for those looking to get in shape, boasting expert trainers to ensure proper guidance. Meanwhile, the Sauna offers a rejuvenating experience, complemented by a refreshing plunge pool that invigorates the body with each transition.

Furthermore, the Vitality Yurts serve as spaces for practicing yoga and meditation, while the Discovery Yurts introduce innovative techniques such as the Hot House Far Infrared Dome + Oxygen, Brain Tap, NuCalm, and more.

Additionally, at the Wheatgrass House, you’ll enjoy freshly made juice twice daily.

The Oasis is the epitome of relaxation, offering a range of treatments including deep tissue or Swedish massages, enema therapy, and one-on-one psychotherapy sessions. Finally, the Vida Center provides IV treatments and oxygen therapy, along with blood tests, weight assessments, and various other diagnostic tests.

The leaders

The leaders, Anna Maria Gahns-Clement, Ph.D., a nutritionist, iridologist, and bodywork therapist, serves as the chief health administrator of the Hippocrates Institute, alongside Brian Clement, Ph.D., L.N., co-director, both of whom have dedicated their lives to the field.

Conclusion

I’d describe the time at Hippocrates Wellness Center as incredibly hectic, moving swiftly from one activity to the next with hardly a moment to rest. The journey truly represents a transformative experience, where you’re tasked with making decisions based on the wealth of information you’ve absorbed. Everything feels manageable in that environment guided by a structured program, taught what you need to know, but returning home presents the real challenge. Implementing and integrating these newfound practices into your everyday life is where the difficulty lies. Suddenly, you’re on your own, faced with numerous adjustments and lacking both the experience and tools to navigate them effectively. Maintaining relationships with friends and family can prove challenging; it’s often difficult to articulate your experiences, yet life must go on, and you’re left to find your own way forward. Thankfully, you maintain close contact with fellow participants from the transformation program, providing mutual support through sharing notes and exchanging our individual experiences.

You need to grasp you life and move on, trust yourself your brain and body about the path you choose to take, the journey just starts take one day after the other one and enjoy each of them.
